The Challenge

I set out to build a functional web app from scratch in one week, using AI for every step—design, code, copy, and even marketing assets. Here's what actually happened.

The Process

AI accelerated planning and boilerplate code significantly. Debugging and integration were where human judgment was essential. The AI was a fantastic pair programmer but couldn't replace architectural thinking.

Results and Lessons

The product shipped and works, though with rough edges. Key lesson: AI handles the 80% that's standard, but the 20% that's unique still requires human expertise. Speed improvement was roughly 3x.
